Anyways, for some reason I cant get the faces to load correctly for some NPCs. Feel the Heat in New Vegas Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. It makes NPCs in-game more realistic, dead people will look more dead and NCR captured troops will look tortured. So! I've seen that people around here have sported some pretty crazy appearance mods for the oblivion engine from time to time. Maybe it's just the remarkably human-oid fellow you wake up next to, but New Vegas seems to be presenting you with the ugliest mug to date.

I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Oblivion-with-guns without feeling the need to get one of those 'better faces' mods. Yesterday I loaded up F:NV, thrilled at the opening cutscene, entered my name, saw my face and instantly quit the game in disgust. The day before yesterday, I familiarized myself with the latest flavor of SPECIAL and powergamed the hell out of it, practically drooling with anticipation. Ive included a couple of different hair mods that dont directly influence head hair, but they should still make your character look much snazzier.
